Description
This is a waterfall located in Iceland. I went there on a
vacation in 1992. There are so many waterfalls there. This one allowed me to get
very close to the edge but still keep my feet firmly on the ground without a
fear of falling in.
Technical Explanation
I wanted to get very close to the falls, but keep the
entire distance of the falls in focus. I used a fast shutter speed and
moderately fast film (200 ASA) to get the correct exposure. The fast shutter
speed allowed me to freeze the motion of the water so you can actually see the
droplets of water. The mist and the more distant part of the falls gives you the
feeling of motion, something you feel in abundance when looking at it in person.
