My Background
I am not a professional photographer, but I have been taking pictures, thousands of pictures over the past 25 years. The photos in my gallery are ones I wish to share with you. I am very proud of these pictures. None of these photographs have been retouched or enhanced. Only a few dust spots from the scan have been removed. I did not add or remove any elements that you see. They are just as I took them. As they say about old movies, “They’ve been restored.”
I’ve enjoyed photography as a hobby for many years. While you’d probably be able to find many books on the subject that would tell you more than what have to say, most people do not pick up those books. People like surfin’ the web however, so having some photo tips on here might be the way to see some pictures, and learn about photography in a cool way. Plus it gives me a way to show off my work.
In 2003 I went digital, shooting exclusively on a compact flash card rather than film, however, this site shows only the pictures I’ve shot using an SLR.
